    Hi Doug, We are planning our 1st vacation to WDW for March 5-March 11. We are driving there and do not have plans to go to a park on our arrival day. My DD will turn 5 on March 10. I would love to hear how you would schdedule your itinerary. Thanks

    Gina,

    You are going to love Disney in March!

    Here is where I would go;

    • March 5 - Arrival Day
    • March 6 - Magic Kingdom
    • March 7 - Hollywood Studios
    • March 8 - Epcot
    • March 9 - Animal Kingdom
    • March 10 - Magic Kingdom
    • March 11 - Departure Day

    Now if you want to visit another park on the 11th, I would recommend another day at the Magic Kingdom. An alternative is to leave that open for a last minute decision, so that you can decide which park has the most to offer your family.

    But I always like to have a great last dinner on my trips, so still make sure you plan a resort-based dinner for that night, like perhaps 'Ohana at the Polynesian.

    I also like the fact that you end up at the Magic Kingdom on your daughter's birthday. Just make sure she wears a "Celebrating My Birthday" button the whole week. Even if she doesn't get something tangible out of it, the constant "Happy Birthday!" comments from the cast members will make her trip!

    Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

    Have a magical vacation!
