    Doug Love Your Answers! I have a quick ? I will be honeymooning at WDW starting Memorial Day. We hear Mem day is packed, so we thought we would skip the parks and do other stuff, Chef M, downt dis, tour resorts, mini golf, any other suggestions?

    Yes, Memorial Day, as well as the Star Wars Weekends, really pack the crowds in. Here are some of my favorites that you might consider;

    Resort Dining: Some of the best food is outside the parks, so planning some great meals is a super idea. Fancy (California Grill), Fun (Chef Mickey's), or campy (Whispering Canyon Cafe) may be ideal.

    Active Fun: The marinas have lots of great fun (parasailing, boat rental, fishing excursions, etc.), but for something a bit more offbeat you could take Surfing Lessons at Typhoon Lagoon, drive a NASCAR ride at Richard Petty's, or take a Segway tour of the Fort Wilderness area.

    Resort Touring: With a dining experience as an anchor, getting into the atmosphere and theme of some resorts can be fun. Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian Resort, and the BoardWalk inn are personal favorites, but consider Port Orleans Riverside too.

    Luxury: A spa day can be really great. Pick between Saratoga Springs, Grand Floridian, and the Dolphin spa based on proximity to your home resort, and relax while everyone else is getting wound up fighting the park crowds.

    Let me know if I can help more!

    Have a magical vacation!
