    Doug, You look like a scheduler like me ( no one else in my family!). Am trying to firm up what days in each park for our July 14-19 trip. PH tix, 7/15 dinner reserv in Epcot for fireworks, 2 teens (12 & 15) & 2 adults. Do we avoid EMhrs? split par

    Alese,

    We are an under-appreciated breed!

    With regards to skipping Extra Magic Hours, I would definitely skip the morning ones at the time that you are going. However, with teens, I might chase a few evening ones. Since your kids can stay up later than the average kid going to a Disney park, you can go to these extra evening hours and as the night progresses really get in a lot of rides with some improving lines.

    Here is where I would go;

    • July 14 - Hollywood Studios (all day)
    • July 15 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Epcot (PM)
    • July 16 - Epcot (all day)
    • July 17 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • July 18 - Hollywood Studios (all day)
    • July 19 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    Now I know you have park hoppers, but I don't have you hopping on many days. It is not that you shouldn't hop, but I would save that ticket feature to when you 'feel' you need to hop, not to do it as part of your schedule. Can you imagine if you were having a great time and then someone announced "I guess we have to leave for X, because it is in our plan!". DISASTER! So relax, use it as needed, and have a fun time!

    Have a magical vacation!
