Hi Doug! Have a friend whose family(dad, mom, 9 yo son, 4 yo daughter) is arriving at WDW on 10/31/13 and departing on 11/3/13 with 2 day MYW tickets; going to MNSSHP on 11/1/13; do not want to go to EPCOT. Any itinerary suggestions? Thanks!

    Andrea,

So there are two ways to go.

Option 1: Since they have two days, but may want to visit 3 parks, they could go to Animal Kingdom on the 1st, during the day. Then they would go to the Magic Kingdom that evening, compliments of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets. Then on the second they could go to Hollywood Studios. 3 parks covered in 2 days, with no need to buy the Park Hopper option!

Option 2: They are going with younger kids. The Magic Kingdom has a lot more to offer them than anywhere else. As such, most would recommend that they just visit one other park, and spend more time at the Magic Kingdom. So the suggestion would be to spend the day of the 1st at the Magic Kingdom, and the evening as well because of the party. Then, as with the other plan, they go to Hollywood Studios on the 2nd.

BOTTOM LINE: Either plan works. But for my money, I would go with Option 2. You get a lot more time at the Magic Kingdom, which is a good idea. As to why to go to Hollywood Studios over the Animal Kingdom on your second day, I love both, but think there is still more for them at the Studios.

Write me back with any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
