    Hi Doug - another ?... DD11 and DD8. What are your thoughts on Disney Quest? I have heard mixed reviews. How long should we plan to spend there? Want to go to Wolfgang Puck Express for 11am lunch, then do DQ - what time does it open? Is this a good plan?

    Jana,

    Here is the basic info on DisneyQuest;

    Originally conceived as an indoor theme park, there used to be several of these in cities around the United States. I think all but this one are now closed.

    This multi-floored entertainment facility takes state-of-the-art computer design and gaming technologies to create some pretty innovative fun. You can design a roller coaster, and then ride it in a simulator. Activities are themed to Disney characters.

    This is a VERY popular destination on rainy or cold days, so expect large crowds in those cases. Entry requires a separate ticket, or use of the Water Park Fun and More option to your Magic Your Way passes.

    The way you planned it is certainly well thought out. However, I am not a truly big fan of DisneyQuest. I don't hate it; I just have a hard time going there knowing that there are four amazing theme parks nearby. Sorry to rain a bit on the parade, but I always recommend friends to opt for a park over DisneyQuest, unless the weather is so foul that being outside is not an option.

    Have a magical vacation!
