Hi Doug! U R clearly the schedule guru (tho' whole panel rocks!) Help me out w/ our plans: DD2, DS4, @ AKL 8/10-13. 8/10-evening at...?, 8/11-MK, 8/12-HS in am, EP in pm, 8/13-MK in am. Back to resort 2 relax, 1-5pm everyday. Waddya think? Advice? Changes?

    Kevin,

Thanks for the compliment...I don't think I have ever been called a "guru"!

So what to do on your first evening? You can either explore your resort (it is by far one of the BEST resorts for exploration!). The alternative is to go to the Animal Kingdom park that evening. It would carry the theme and ambiance of your day, based on your resort home, and would give you a chance to add that park to your visit. Either way, have a great meal at either Boma or Tusker House (if you choose to visit the park).

As to your other day plans, I think they are PERFECT! Epcot will be a bit busy the evening of the 12th, but still an ideal way to split the day between the parks.

Also, as the parent of a 2 and 4 year old myself, I think your plan to be back at the resort to relax from 1-5 is a sound, realistic, and wise one. That will make the trip better for everyone!

So no changes from me, other than the opening evening suggestion. Do you have dining plans set yet? Can I help with recommendations? Write me back if so!

    Have a magical vacation!
