I have done online check in...do I still need to go to the resort before the parks? I'd like to get to the park that first day as soon as it opens. We're actually driving in the day before so we can get as much out of our days as possible. Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

If you're using the Disney Dining Plan or wish to have room charging privileges activated on your MagicBand, you'll need to check in to your resort first. If you're only using the MagicBands for park admission and your FastPass+ selections, you'll be able to dive on into the magic without stopping at the resort first.

However, I always suggest making a quick stop at the resort anyway, just so you're checked in and everything. We never want to wait in the check in line after a full day in the parks. If your room is not ready, the resort can text you your room number when it becomes available. You'll be able to head right to your room when you return to the resort.

I hope this helps, Jennifer. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
