Family enjoying activities on board

We're doing WDW before and after our 3-day cruise. My kids are 4 and 7, so we'll be needing a stroller part of the time at WDW. Is there room on the ship for our sit-n-stand stroller under the bed or in the closet? Thanks!

    Hi Terra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited for your oh-so-soon Land and Sea adventure!  What fun you will have at Walt Disney World only to be capped off with a fun and relaxing adventure at sea with Captain Mickey!  While your Disney Cruise will be no doubt be filled with non-stop fun and excitement, it definitely can be more of a relaxing time than the busy-ness of the theme parks which will be nice and welcomed by all.

Until only recently we have always cruised with strollers for our two boys and boy oh boy did they come in handy onboard and at port on multiple occasions and I can certainly still see the need for us to use one at the theme parks.  Those days can certainly be long for little legs and at the end of the day, the last thing mom or dad wants to do is carry a little one back to the hotel.  We have always used umbrella-type collapsible strollers onboard and had no problem stowing them under the bed in the stateroom along with our largest suitcases.  Since I am not familiar with the exact dimensions of your stroller when collapsed, I would think that if it is no larger than a large suitcase (think the hard-sided suitcase that when filled reaches 49.99 pounds on an airport luggage scale) then it would slide under the bed without a problem.  But, any larger or bulkier than that, and it may be a challenge for underbed or in closet storage.

Another consideration would be to rent a stroller at the theme parks for your time there.  While you won’t be able to take these back to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel at the end of the day or move it from theme park to theme park, you would save on space in your stateroom.

    Happy Vacationing!
