I am doing a split stay, first at the Swan and then at a yet to be determined Disney owned hotel over a period of 12 days. I would like to split 10 days of park entrance. Can I use my Magic Bands for entrance during my Swan Hotel time?

    Hi, Jim!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Boardwalk area is one of my favorite areas to stay when we visit Disney; The other is staying at a Monorail resort.

Your park tickets, which will be linked to your Magic Band, are not directly connected to your resort stay. So, no matter where you are staying, you will be able to use your park tickets whenever you would like over that 12 day stay! While you are at the Swan, you will be able to use your Magic Band to enter the parks and attractions or shows that you have selected for your FastPass+! Even though the Swan is on Disney property, it is not considered as a Walt Disney World resort.

Once you decide where you will stay for the remainder of your trip, and it is a Disney resort, you will then be able to use your Magic Band to enter your resort room and link a credit card of your choice to make buying your favorite Disney merchandise or sweet treats a bit easier! Also, those park tickets and FastPass+ choices will still be available on your Magic Band.

Tip: Once you begin to use your park tickets, they must be used within 14 days.

    Happy planning!
