Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kerrie! We’re so glad to see you back again. It’s our pleasure to assist you as you plan a most magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Kerrie, with so many amazing options to choose from for your lodging while at the most magical place on earth, making your visit a split stay is a great way to get to enjoy even more of the magic.
Whenever I’ve chosen to do a split stay, I have happily ordered that second set of
MagicBands so I can add to my collection and have all the pretty colors to coordinate with my Disney-bounding outfits. One can never have too many MagicBands! As long as all your details are linked up in your
My Disney Experience account, both MB’s will work for all your Dining reservations, Dining Plan Credits, theme park tickets, FastPass+, etc… Just be sure to verify all those details before you arrive for peace of mind. And if you notice any discrepancies and need help straightening it all out, simply reach out to Disney’s internet help desk at 407-939-4357 where a savvy Cast Member will gladly help.
One last pro-tip! Be sure to keep in mind that when you have a split stay with
Disney’s Dining Plan, your credits are assigned to your hotel reservation. This means that when you check out of your first hotel, the credits assigned to those nights will expire when you check out at midnight. But then the new batch for the second stay go live that very next day. So be sure to use up your credits from the first half before they turn back into pumpkins at midnight!
I hope this information was helpful! See ya real soon,
Emille
