We are doing a SHORT - 2 day at MK - July 13 & 14 - staying at Sports - quick dining. First trip for DD8 and DS6 - going to be a SURPRISE. Any tips or suggestions - don't want to miss the highlights, but don't want to feel rushed to "do it all.&

    Hi Anissa!

I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  There you can look at various touring plans, which are recommend sequences to experience the attractions, for the Magic Kingdom.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.  Their touring plans can help you see more attractions while minimizing your waiting in lines.

Since it is a first time trip, I also recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It's a great book for first timers.  It has just the right amount of information without being overwhelming.  It's also a beautiful book full of fabulous color pictures.

Have a magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
