Hi Doing the princess 1/2 & need to know if I can plan brunch at kona cafe or boma after because we need to get back to Pop by 12:30. I'm hoping to finish before 10am. Got a reservation @ 10:35. Need to know if it's doable & best way to get there

    Hi, Samantha!

I hope your training has gone well and you are getting excited for the Disney Princess Half Marathon. It's hard to believe this fairytale event is almost here.

When trying to plan a brunch reservation for 10:35am, it might be difficult if your estimated finish time will be before, but close to 10:00am. After you've crossed the finish line you will proceed through the runners chute and exit near the gEAR bag claim tent. Once you've collected your gEAR bag you can take race transportation directly to the resort you've booked your advanced dining reservation for- however, all of this takes a fair amount of time. I have done exactly what you are trying to do, and it took me an hour to get to Kona at Disney's Polynesian Resort for my post-race breakfast.

Have you considered a breakfast option closer to Epcot? The Epcot Resort Area features a wonderful array of breakfast/brunch options. For Example, Cape May Cafe, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, is a fun character breakfast offering fabulous buffet options. Additionally, Kouzzina by Cat Cora at Disney's BoardWalk is one of my favorite locations for a fabulous, more adult friendly breakfast. I highly recommend the Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast- it's perfect post-race fuel. You can't go wrong selecting any of the brunch options in this resort area. I hope this information helps as you prepare and plan for that post-race celebratory brunch, Samantha. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have!

    Have a magical race!
