Doing online check-in Dec 1, if I remember right it asks you what your arrival time is. We will be arriving in the middle of the night BEFORE checkin. I know I can checkin as early as 12am. If i put 12 am on online checkin, is that used in room assignment?

    Hi there, Kristi!

While you will be checked in to the hotel - n other words, present and accounted for! - after your signified time (meaning that you will be responsible for the room charges, whether or not you are actually present), your actual room will not necessarily be specified at that time.

Likely, your room will be assigned to you upon your arrival. Because of the number of people changing reservations, needing late checkouts, etc., it can be difficult for Disney Travel Planners and Resort Cast Members to make final determinations too far in advance; if you have any requests, though, you should always indicate them both when you make the reservation and when you check in. Finally, reiterate the request/s when you are at the Resort desk.

I would call now and get any requests noted in your file. It's always better to have the request ready to go before you arrive. This will allow the Cast Members at your Resort to start shuffling rooms around based on availability and Guest needs.

Disney does a phenomenal job of looking into the future and attempting to honor as many requests as possible. It is more than likely that "the dream that you wish will come true"!

    See you later, celebrator,
