Doing a "Mommy & Me" trip 2 WDW w/ my daughter who will be turning 16 during our trip. Any suggestions on things we should do, show we should see, or even what hotel is best? It's our 1st time so I want to make it extra special! Thanks!!

    Hi Karen!

Oh, how special! I'm thrilled for you that you will get to go on a Mommy & Me trip with your daughter!

I have many ideas for making this a magical trip for you both. Consider booking a spa treatment at Senses at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can both get pedicures, manicures and massages and relax in the relaxation room together with hot tea, snacks, steam room and hot tub.

Afterwards you can get tea at the Garden View Tea Room. The afternoon tea offers a wonderful selection of hot teas, scones and sandwiches.

I absolutely love Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It's on the monorail line for Magic Kingdom, the restaurants are wonderful ('Ohana!) and the pool is awesome.

Plan to spend a day at Epcot, touring the World Showcase and eating and shopping your way around the world. Don't miss the amazing shopping selection in the Japan pavilion.

While you are at Epcot, consider doing the Dolphins in Depth Tour, where you can get in the water with a dolphin!

I'm so excited for you! You both are going to have the time of your lives!

    Magically,
    Stacy
