When doing the meet and greets with the characters does everyone in our party need to use a fast pass or only our 5 year old that wants to meet the character?

    Hi Jodi!

Selecting your FastPass+ for the family for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is fun but you want to try to please everyone which can make it a bit more complicated.

All guests who will be experiencing an attraction whether it is a ride or a meet and greet will need a FastPass. The only ones who do not need a FastPass are children under the age of three. When you have a person who wishes to experience something and others do not then this is the time to separate for an hour  so both can select a FastPass that fits to their interest level. If you have some members of your family who would like to ride some thrill rides then this is a great time to select one of those FastPass+ to them during the same time that the young five year old books a FastPass to meet a character with one of the adults.

It takes a little more planning to separate a group but it is a great way to please everyone. My husband will not ride any of the coasters so we book him on an attraction that he likes while we head to the thrills of the ups and downs of a coaster in the parks. Just make sure you select a meeting place and time so you don't stay separated for any longer then necessary.

Enjoy the planning and I am confident you will all have the most magical Disney vacation possible!
