We are doing a family reunion trip to WDW in October. My oldest is signed up for the pirateleague, I want to sign my youngest up for something speical as well but there doesn't seem to be anything for 2y/os. Suggestions?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley! Congratulations on your upcoming family reunion, I think you’ll find that you’re headed to some serious magic!

The Pirate’s League is a thrilling, enchanting magical transformation experience for ages 3 and up. Did you know Mom or Dad can join in to become Pirates and Mermaids, too? Sadly, since your 2-year-old isn’t quite up to the minimum age, they won’t be able to make an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi or The Pirate’s League, but there is another magical option! The Harmony Barber Shop inside Magic Kingdom accepts reservations for guests of ANY age for a magical haircut, style or beard/bang trim. You can get a new haircut, fancy braid, bun, or gel swirl, all topped with pixie or pirate dust. I tend to prefer the pirate dust since the pieces are large and colorful; it’s easy to comb out later. My daughter had a first haircut here last summer, which came with a set of ears and plenty of magic. The keepsakes are absolutely precious!

You can make a reservation for Harmony Barber Shop by calling (407) 939-7529. If, by chance, the salon is already booked, you’ll want to arrive at Magic Kingdom for “rope drop” because the third and final chair in the shop is reserved for the day’s walk up appointments. They are taken early in the morning on a first come, first serve basis, so line up early! If I can help you find more magic for your family, please return to ask another question. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
