If you are doing Early Morning Hours beginning at 8:00am, will fastpass be available for the 8am to 9am hour and is it necessary?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert! Extra Magic Hours are one of the many perks and benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and I'm here to let you know how to get the most out of that time so you can visit all of your favorite attractions as many times as possible.

Extra Magic Hours, time in the theme parks each day exclusively for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests, are a great way to make the most out of your precious time when you're on vacation. Extra Magic Hours are offered both before and after posted operating hours at different theme parks throughout the week, and there really is something extra magical about being there when there are fewer guests around. FastPass+ selections are not available during Extra Magic Hours, but the great news is that you truly won't need them because you'll often be able to enjoy your favorite attractions with a much shorter than average wait time. This is especially true of morning Extra Magic Hours, so be sure to get there early if it works for you!

When we're taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours, my family and I like to save our FastPass+ selections for later in the morning at a time when most guests are arriving for the day. That way we can use that early time in the morning to ride attractions when the wait times are typically lower, and save our FastPass+ for a time in the day when it's really going to save us from a longer wait in line.

    Have a magical day, Robert!

Meet the Panelist: Jessica, Texas

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our two rescue animals. We are Disney-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
