We are doing 1 day at Magic Kingdom before our Disney Cruise and it will be our first ever Disney World Trip with a 6 year old and a 1.5 year old. I just want to know what rides/attractions are best suitable for both of my children to enjoy together?

Hello, Bianca! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your magical day in Magic Kingdom Park! I have children of the same ages, so I hope my insight can get your kiddos together for some fun!

We love riding everything together, so if we’re not using Rider Switch to get the big kid and parents on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you can find us on Peter Pan’s Flight, Under the Sea, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Prince Charming’s Carousel, Winnie the Pooh, the Mad Tea Party, the Barnstormer and Jungle Cruise. Not to mention the incredible shows like the Enchanted Tiki Room (my daughter was enamored!), Country Bear Jamboree and riding the Walt Disney Railroad around the park. There are very few rides in Magic Kingdom that demand a height restriction, so you should be fine to ride most things without any worry.

Do, however, make sure to snag your FastPass+ reservations for incredible popular attractions like Peter Pan and Buzz Lightyear. Those lines get long fairly quickly! Have a magical vacation, and please let me know if I can help further! ~ Lindsey P.
