Hi. We're doing the Bibbidi Bobbidi makeover @ the downtown location and hoping to be at the MK by Noon. Is it even worth going to the MK since half the day is gone? By that time, will we have to wait in long lines for rides? Traveling to MK on 5/12 (Sat).

    Hooty,

As you can imagine, the Magic Kingdom will be fairly busy on that day, since for many parts of the United States school will already be out on summer break.

However the park is open until 11 pm that day. Yes, some of the lines will be long. But it is a large park, so you should be able to get into some attractions.

If it were me, I might have considered not going, if I knew I could use that as my pool day. But I am guessing that the last thing you want to do after getting your child all made up is to have her jump in a pool and have all that wash away.

So that leads me to the question: What else would you do with your day? You have a child that has been transformed into a princess. You probably are not going to take in a pool day, or a water park. So perhaps you bite the bullet and take her where all princesses should go - The Magic Kingdom!

One hint. See if you can all sleep in that morning. Make your pre-noon makeover the breakfast part of your day, so that you can all stay up later that night to take advantage of the later closing time.

I hope that this helped? If not, write us back with more questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
