What documentation is require to obtain a DAS pass? How many people can be linked to the DAS person? We have 15 in our party.

    Hi Janet,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow - you are planning a trip for a large group! I can only imagine how excited everyone is.

To obtain the Disability Access Service, you will need to register at Guest Relations when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. We normally register my husband when we arrive at our first theme park. We simply speak with a cast member who records our information and attaches the Disability Access Service to my husband's MagicBand. We have not been asked for documentation.  At this time, the Disability Access Service works for the guest with the disability and up to five guests.

Fortunately, we have been able to use the Disability Access Service in addition to Fast Pass+.  To start using the service, a member of your party (which does not have to be the person with the disability) will need to approach a cast member at the entrance to an attraction, explain that you have someone with Disability Access Service and request a return time for the attraction. If available, the cast member will give you a return time.

Janet, once you return to the attraction, the guest with the Disability Access Service will need to scan in first, then other members of the group can enter. This is an amazing service and has certainly helped my husband, who cannot tolerate long lines, enjoy the parks with the girls and me. Be sure to also review the other Services for Guests with Disabilities, in particular the Park Guides for Guests with Disabilities. If you take a look at the Magic Kingdom Park Guide, you will see specific accessibility information.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
