Hi, Dm coming with my adult daughters ,no children this time, what are some fun things we can do together?Staying at yacht club.

    Hi Linda,

Going to Walt Disney World with adults only allows you to enjoy it in a different, yet equally magical, way!

Your choice of staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a great one for an adults-only trip. This resort is located on Crescent Lake, around which you will also find Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. These are all within walking distance, and include some great, more upscale dining options such as Todd English's bluezoo at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. At Disney's Yacht Club, I enjoy relaxing with adults at Crew's Cup Lounge, which has rich nautical theme, as well as great drinks and food.

Also, do consider strolling around Crescent Lake to spend some time on Disney's BoardWalk. My mother and I once spent a really fun evening at Disney's BoardWalk at Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar. This high-energy venue serves guests 21 and older and features two piano players responding to musical requests in a jovial atmosphere.

At Disney's Yacht Club Resort, you are also a quick walk away from Epcot. Epcot is a great theme park for all ages, but I also find so much to do there for just adults. From Disney's Yacht Club, you will enter Epcot through the International Gateway, which puts you right into the heart of World Showcase. My husband and I once spent a very enjoyable adults-only afternoon picking up small food and drink in the pavilions of World Showcase, and then wandering through World Showcase, stopping to watch and listen to many of the live musical and artistic performances in the pavilions.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Linda!
