I am going to DL with my 5&3 year olds (both 40+ in), leaving husband & baby home. I'll be by myself, so we can't use rider switch. Which rides can't we ride (Autopia)? Can they sit together in front of me (Space/Splash Mtns)?

    Hi Sonja!
So you've decided to take on the challenge of visiting the Happiest Place on Earth with two kids and no extra help?
Well, I'm here to tell you, it can be done!
As a mom of two young boys I like to venture out to the Parks and I've done it by myself since my husband's work schedule hardly ever coincides with ours!
While you are correct about Rider Switch, there are other options to make the most of your Park experience!
For example, have you heard of MaxPass?
It's a service that allows you to make FASTPASS reservations to your favorite attractions without having to physically visit the FASTPASS machine located outside of the ride! That's because you're able to reserve your FASTPASSES directly from the Disneyland Mobile App on your cell phone.
Now, in terms of attractions that all three of you can enjoy, the Disneyland website has an "attractions" section where you can review each ride and see if the height limit allows both kids to ride.
I can tell you that Autopia has a height requirement of 32 in. or taller, which means you'll have no problem riding with your little ones! Other attractions for children 40 in. or taller include the Astro Orbitor, the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, among others.
There are also plenty of rides available for all ages, including my all-time favorite attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean!
    I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Wishing you a Magical time at the Disneyland Resort...
