I've been to DL several times, but this will be my first with my daughter. She will be 4. What hotel do you suggest thats close enough for walking back during nap time.

    Hi, Emma!

I’m glad to hear you’re headed back to The Happiest Place on Earth. I bet you can’t wait to explore the parks with your little one and see all the magic through her eyes!

I have two top Disneyland Resort Hotel choices for families with young children. The first is Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa because it’s the closest to the theme parks, making trips back to the hotel room for naps quick and easy. It’s also nice to avoid a long walk or ride back to your room at the end of a long day in the parks. Another great option is the Disneyland Hotel because its rooms are by far the most spacious of all three resort hotels. There are also no balconies in the rooms at this hotel, just floor-to-ceiling windows, which some parents prefer. It is close to the Monorail station in the Downtown Disney District, so you can hop on for a ride directly into Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.

Be sure to take advantage of early theme park entry, which is currently offered to Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Disneyland Park and on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for Disney California Adventure Park. It’s a great way to make the most of your time and fit as much magic as possible into your vacation.

I hope this helps, Emma, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted visit! Please visit me again with more questions as your vacation approaches. I’d be happy to help you plan!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
