    Candi from Western Australia Asked

We'll be in DL in Dec, coming from Australia. We want to buy deluxe passports. Our dates show a blockout date for the deluxe. Can we get into the parks on the blockout date, other than buying a one day ticket? Trying to save $ where possible. Thank you

    Hi there Candi!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't wait for you to make your exciting journey to the Happiest Place on Earth.

I'd be happy to help you with your question regarding Disneyland Annual Passports. There are so many amazing benefits to being a passholder at the Disneyland Resort. I love that passholders can save on select dining, merchandise, and even guided tours. Unfortunately as you mentioned, some Annual Passports do have blockout dates, but you have a couple of options when it comes to visiting on these days.

You are more than welcome to buy regular Park Tickets on days you are blocked out, but another option is to upgrade your Annual Passport to one that is not blocked out during that time. Sometimes this option is actually more cost-effective! If you were to upgrade to a Signature or Signature Plus Passport that includes Theme Park parking and a larger discount on dining and merchandise, you could actually save money. I would suggest comparing both options to see what will work best for your family.

Please feel free to return with any other questions, and have a magical day!
