Going to disneyworld for first time with 5 & 8 year olds. When is the best time to go & what websites are best to use to book trip? I am feeling completely overwhelmed with it!

    Hi Crystal!

It's so exciting that you are taking your first trip to Walt Disney World. I have a feeling that this will be just the beginning for you and after visiting once, you will fall in love with it just as much as we here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel have. It is so much fun!

There is so much to see and do that it can, at times, feel overwhelming as you plan. Let me lead you through a couple of steps that can help you as you begin. First of all, create an account on My Disney Experience. Next, take a few minutes to look through the Walt Disney World website, exploring the options for Disney Resort Hotels, the great things offered at each of the Parks, all of the fantastic places to eat and the Advanced Dining Reservations that are offered, and all of the different Rides and Attractions, to name a few. After you decide what you want your vacation to look like, sign into your My Disney Experience account and begin making Reservations. The Disney Website is set up in a way that makes it easy to book everything right online. Double check that every element of your vacation is linked in your My Disney Experience Account and you will be all ready to go!

It is hard to pinpoint an exact time of year that is best to visit Walt Disney World but usually the size of the crowds seems to coincide with school breaks. If you are flexible on your dates, I would recommend going when school is in session. Any time of the year will be fantastic, though, and you will have a marvelous time! Please come back if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
