Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

DisneyQuest sounds perfect for my 3 boys (ages 7-15), but I'd appreciate advice on incorporating my 4 yr old daughter. What is good for a (very short) 4 yr old, and is child swap offered or do we need to plan on splitting up for much of the time?

    Hi Felicia!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First, I want to inform you that Disney Quest is scheduled to close sometime in 2016.  The official date has not been announced (at the time I write this), so it should be there for several more months but wanted you to know this, just in case.  If you don't already, be sure to follow Disney Parks Blog for updates.

Second, I think that all of your children will love it.   My two sons consider it a "must-do" for every trip. We are all very sad that is going away, but we also know that new and exciting things will be coming! We can't wait to see what's next!

Disney Quest largely comprises of video games, both classic and new.  There are stools and chairs around if your daughter needs help reaching them.  The only attractions (that I can remember) that have height restrictions are:  Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam (48"), CyberSpace Mountain (51"), and Buzz Lightyear's Astroblaster (51").

I think your daughter will love the "Create Zone" where she can take animation courses and also "create" songs and toys.

When my boys were younger, my husband and I did split up and take one each to do as they wished. Now that they are both teenagers, we allow them to go on their own (together) and meet us at specific time intervals for a check-in.

You can find a great review of Disney Quest and a list of it's attractions at www.wdwinfo.com.  This isn't an official Walt Disney World website, but it is very informative and will give you a good idea of what to expect.

I hope this helps!   Please let me know if you have any other questions leading up to your magical vacation.
