We have never been to Disney, our little girl will be 5 next May we would like to take her for her birthday. We have no travel knowledge or experience. Where and how do i begin? What is age appropriate for her?

Hi, Stephanie!    How exciting to be planning a birthday celebration for your princess!    At age 5, there is so much to do!    Except for those rides that might be too intense or have a height requirement, your daughter is going to have a wonderful time exploring the 4 theme parks in WDW, going on all the attractions, meeting her favorite characters, and enjoying the shows, parades, and fireworks.

One of my favorite planning tools can be found HERE.    This Vacation Booking Guide walks you step by step through the entire booking process and makes sure you don't forget anything.    Go through this several times adding different options until you find a package that suits your family's needs and budget.

Also check HERE before booking.   This is where you will find special offers and promotions being offered by Disney.   Make sure to log in on www.disneyworld.com and under PROFILE make sure you have the boxes checked to receive emails from Disney on upcoming offers.

To learn more about WDW, I would go to www.allears.net and sign-up for their e-newsletter.   You will learn so much from reading their site and newsletters and it will get you ready for your vacation.   Another place you might want to visit is www.mousesavers.com.    This site offers great money saving tips and park updates.

Good luck planning  your vacation, and remember the Moms Panel is here to answer any questions you might have.
