Greetings, Brett! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.
Disney FASTPASS Service at the Disneyland Resort works a little differently than FastPass+ at the Walt Disney World Resort. Here, FASTPASS selections are made one at a time and cannot be made in advance. You also have two different methods of obtaining FASTPASSES at the Disneyland Resort. The traditional Disney FASTPASS Service is included with your theme park admission and requires that you visit a physical FASTPASS distribution kiosk to receive a FASTPASS for the attraction you want to ride. For an additional fee per ticket per day, you can add the
Disney MaxPass option which allows you to make FASTPASS selections from anywhere in the parks using the Disneyland app. No matter which option you choose, you will either scan your theme park ticket or the FASTPASS in your app to enter the FASTPASS queue when it’s time to ride.
If you decide to add the MaxPass option, you will also have all your PhotoPass photos included! For any day that you are actively using Disney MaxPass, you will have access to download photos taken by PhotoPass photographers and any attraction photos captured that day. It’s a great added bonus!
I hope this helps. Please stop by again if you have any other questions!
