We will be at Disneyland March 1st-5th. Do you know if this is around California spring break? We are going to be there for a dance competition and the food and wine starts that weekend. Wondering how busy it's going to be.

    Hi there, Rebecka!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question about the Disneyland Resort. I’m so glad to hear you’re visiting The Happiest Place on Earth this spring!

Much of March through mid-April is expected to be much busier at the Disneyland Resort due to schools being on spring break and more families traveling. In my experience, spring break timing varies for schools up and down the state, but a large portion occur the week prior to and immediately following Easter Sunday. The good news is that your visit is early in the month and includes a few weekdays, which are almost always less crowded than weekends. I would expect that Thursday (your arrival day) in particular should be an easy day to explore the theme parks, followed by Monday and Friday. These would be great days to hit some of your must-do attractions and entertainment without a lot of fuss.

With the help of Disney FASTPASS services, you should have plenty of opportunities to experience the attractions on your wishlist. Disney MaxPass is another way to save time in line at popular attractions. It enables you to make Disney FASTPASS selections from your mobile device with the Disneyland app once you enter the theme parks. You’ll also get unlimited Disney PhotoPass photo downloads for each day you purchase Disney MaxPass--it’s a great way to document your most magical moments!

I hope this helps, Rebecka. Please visit me again with more questions as your pixie-dusted planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
