    Lydia from monterrey Asked

Can we use in Disneyland our magic bands that were purchased on 2011 at WDW?

    Hi Lydia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am happy to answer your questions about the Disneyland Resort!
MagicBands are a very cool feature exclusive to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Here at the Disneyland Resort in California we have paper tickets and we offer same-day FASTPASS service for guests.
This means you must insert your paper admission ticket in the FASTPASS distribution machine at select attractions on the day of your visit and the machine will print out a FASTPASS return time.
Back in January, Disney announced that there will be a new feature coming to the Disneyland Resort called MaxPass, which will allow guests to pay a small fee in order to reserve FASTPASSES through their mobile phones.
So far no official dates have been announced for MaxPass but if you visit the Disney Parks Blog, you will be able to learn all the latest in terms of fun things coming to the Parks.
    I hope my answer helps.
Have a Magical day filled with Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust!
