    Luann from NY Asked

We are going to Disneyland the day after Easter. We are traveling with a 22 month old. We only have one day to visit the parks. Should we get a hopper or just stay in one park and if so which one is god for her. Luann

Greetings, Luann, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m so excited for you and your family to experience the Disneyland Resort this April! Since you’ll only have one day, I’d recommend purchasing a Park Hopper ticket in order to experience both parks. The entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are just a short two-minute walk across a large esplanade. So, “park hopping” is easy to do, and encouraged! If you’d prefer to stick with one park, I’d suggest Disneyland Park, since your daughter will have a few more options there.

Here are a few of my favorite options for preschoolers at both parks:

Disneyland Park – Mickey’s Toontown, including touring Mickey and Minnie’s Houses, “it’s a small world”, Fantasyland, including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Peter Pan’s Flight, and King Arthur Carrousel, and meeting Disney princesses at Royal Hall. Don't forget a ride along the Disneyland Railroad, the Disneyland Monorail, and watching Mickey’s Soundsational Parade!

Disney California Adventure Park – Monster’s, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue!, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree (over 32 inches), and Toy Story Midway Mania!. A perfect place to take a break is Disney Junior Dance Party!

Be sure to utilize the Baby Care Centers, located inside both parks. Download the Disneyland app to take advantage of Disney MaxPass and Mobile Ordering, too!

    Wishing you magic,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
