Disneyland California Adventure: we would like to see the Frozen show at the Hyperion options 12 or 3 if we had lunch at Carthay only choices are 12 or 1. How long does lunch take if done early would we still get preferred seating?

    Hi, Cherrie!

You're in for a real treat with lunch at Carthay Circle and Frozen – Live at the Hyperion! Personally, I believe the best way to experience both of these fan favorites is to book the Frozen Dining Package. This royal package features a three-course feast at Carthay Circle, followed by priority reserved seating for Frozen – Live at the Hyperion

The Frozen Dining Package costs $89 per adult and $45 per child (ages 3 to 9), plus tax and gratuity. Prices are subject to change without notice. You may book this experience online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE. If you’re interested, it's best to reserve your spot as soon as possible!

If this dining package isn’t a fit for your family, you can still secure a reservation for lunch at Carthay Circle, followed by a later showing of Frozen – Live at the Hyperion. I would suggest allowing between one and a half to two hours for this fine-dining experience.

According to the online schedule, Frozen – Live at the Hyperion will be featured at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM on your day of arrival. It’s typically best to arrive between 45-60 minutes prior to show time for the best seating. Doors usually open about a half hour before the performance begins. So, if you don’t opt for the dining package, your best bet may be to take your time enjoying lunch and aiming for the 5:00 PM performance.

I can’t wait for you to Let it Go in just a few weeks!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
