Going to Disneyland with 3 boys (7, 5, and 15m) for the first time and after reading all the posts I'm so stressed! What are the major rides we must visit? Which are the busiest so we'll start with? Will be staying 2 days, end of August. Thanks

    Hi, Ana!

Hakuna Matata, No Worries! Let's make some plans to maximize your time while visiting the Disneyland Resort.

Since you have 2 days to visit the House of Mouse, plan for one park each day. "Must See" family friendly attractions in Disneyland Park include Pirates of the Caribbean, it's a small world, Astro Orbitor, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. These are all "family friendly" so you can enjoy these attractions as a family. If your older 2 kids are thrill seekers (and meet the height requirements) they might enjoy Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, or the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

In Disney California Adventure Park, stop by Cars Land, Francis' Ladybug Boogie, and Toy Story Midway Mania for family fun. Thrill rides here include California Screamin' and Grizzly River Run.

To make the most of your days, utilize the complimentary Disney FASTPASS service to reduce your wait times. You might even want to try Disney MaxPass, a similar service, but you can book your FASTPASS selections right from your smartphone on the Disneyland app (fee per person/per day to use MaxPass).

The most important tip of all is to take a mid-day break back at your hotel. Take a nap, lay by the pool, or just relax in your room. This will get everyone refreshed and ready for nighttime magic back in the wonderful theme parks.

Best of luck planning your vacation!
