    Heather from AZ Asked

I am going to Disneyland in the beginning of December. We had used the Photo Pass+ option in the past, and are now looking at what to use for this trip. If we are using the Max Pass for photos only, does every member of my group need to purchase it?

    Dear Heather,
The Disneyland Resort introduced the MaxPass over the summer as a way to allow guests the option to reserve their FASTPASSES from the comfort of their phones using the Disneyland Mobile App. As an added perk, every person who purchases MaxPass can get photo downloads during their visit.
Since MaxPass is a feature that is to be purchased for every ticketed person interested in a faster way of obtaining a FASTPASS, the answer to your question is that, yes, every person in your group who would benefit from the MaxPass offer should purchase it.
If you only plan to use it for photos, then you would be the only person who can scan your MaxPass for that purpose. If someone else in your group takes a photo, they will not have the MaxPass to link it to.
Also, keep in mind that purchasing the PhotoPass+ may be a better deal than buying the MaxPass feature for every person in your group.
I hope I've answered your question.
