We will be going to Disneyland in April with a 15 year old, 5 year old and an almost 3 year old. We will be there for three days. What do you suggest to do and see that would possibly be fun for our oldest and our little ones at the same time? Thanks!

    Hi there Jennifer,

Thank you for your question. April is a Fantasmic time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort!

Before you arrive, your family may want to study the Disneyland map and pick out your must-do attractions and shows for each park. During your vacation, make sure you take advantage of the FASTPASS (FP) system; it's free and located near the entrance of participating attractions. You can also pick up a copy of the park Times Guide to get a current listings of entertainment offerings and scheduling. You can find one of these at the main entrance, City Hall, or at one of the Tip Boards on Main Street.

We like to head down Main Street U.S.A. straight into Fantasyland to my personal favorite, the Storybook Land Canal Boats or ride Casey Jr. Circus Train; both attractions cover the same magical real estate and are a must see. We love to ride the classics like Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Then take a journey on Star Tours-The Adventures Continue. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, try to get a FP early to World of Color & Radiator Springs Racers as these are both high in demand. You will want to spend some time in Cars Land, it's like you walked right into the movie Cars, it's breathtaking!

If there is ever an attraction that your daughter cannot ride, ask the Cast Member at the queue entrance if the attraction offers a Rider Switch. The Disney Parks have come up with a convenient feature called the Rider Switch to help families utilize the attractions in a timely manner even if all the Guests in their party do not wish to ride whether it is due to height restrictions or personal preference.

I hope this itinerary will get you started on your magical trip. If you have any more questions, please write me back and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation!
