The disneyland app has wait times for the rides but not the characters. What is typical for the princesses and tinkerbell? And what is the best time of day? Is there a different app or someplace that has the wait times?

Hello, Denise! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so glad that you have familiarized yourself with the Disneyland app! This is the absolute best tool for navigating the parks efficiently. You are correct that the app shows wait times for attractions, but, at this time, doesn't show wait times for character meets. There are signs and/or Cast Members at the entrances to both Pixie Hollow and Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire that will have the current wait times. At Royal Hall, the entire queue is outside so you can quickly get a feel for the length of the wait. Pixie Hollow is a bit more winding, so I suggest asking the Cast Member at the entrance what the wait time is before you enter to meet Tinker Bell.

My best recommendation is to visit both of these areas early in the morning, with the priority being meeting the princesses at Royal Hall. In my experience, the queue here can build rapidly and is a bit of a slow mover so heading here first thing in the morning is a good plan. After meeting the princesses, I would then venture over to Pixie Hollow. I have found that the wait for Tinker Bell is usually pretty minimal in the mornings and there have been a few occasions where we were one of the first people of the day to meet her. Also, keep your eyes open for princesses in other areas of the park like by Snow White's Wishing Well next to Sleeping Beauty Castle and by the Mark Twain Riverboat where Princess Tiana is often found.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
