Going to Disney with a 38" 4 year old on May or June. Can you recommend a fun out of park activity he is able to do I looked into Disney Quest, but is seems he is a bit short for all the rides inside. Any other ideas?

    Hi Joshua,

I highly recommend the Pirates and Pal Fireworks Voyage from the Contemporary Resort. This sailing is fun for all ages. It begins with checking in for your sailing where each member of your party will receive a pirate bandana. Lots of kids arrive dressed in pirate attire too! A festive party with snacks and beverages takes place as guests are free to greet Captain Hook and his sidekick, Smee.

You'll be led by pirates and the characters to your waiting vessel. Songs, trivia games, and an awesome view of the fireworks are all part of your cruise. Back on shore, a surprise awaits! And before disembarking, all young pirates can choose a small treasure. A truly memorable evening that my whole family enjoyed!

The unique miniature golf courses at WDW are another fun activity for the whole family!

Pony rides are exclusive to visitors under 45 inches! Check out the ponies at Fort Wilderness.

Our son loved participating in the kids-only Disney Pirate Adventure.

I hope you find the perfect activity (or two!!) to enjoy away from the WDW parks!
