Mom And Son On Run

We will be in Disney World from 12/2 to 12/16. My 3 year old son loves roller coasters like Goofy's Barnstormer. He also loves cars. Should I take him on Test Track at Epcot? He is 42 inches tall, i.e. he meets the height requirement. Thank you!

Hi, Maeghan!  I think you're going to have to be the one to answer this question.  My four year old was just tall enough to do Test Track and Splash Mountain within the past few months, and she loves them!  She's a pretty adventurous kid, though, and with two big sisters, the opportunity to do anything the bigger girls can already do is truly exciting to her.

Test Track is fast, and it can be a bit scary.  The first time my four year old road she told me she thought we were going to be in an accident, as the car does do some things that make it look like you are going to crash or swerve off of the road.  It didn't scare her enough not to want to go again, but it is something that hadn't crossed my mind when we took her on it the first time.

If your son seems pretty adventurous, just set him up ahead of time for what he can expect.  Remind him that it's all pretend and nothing bad is going to happen, just so you know that he's not worried.  I know I'd definitely feel comfortable taking my little one on the ride again.

    Have a great trip!
