We will be at Disney world for a week start June 19th. We only want to do one sit down reservation breakfast meal. We can't deside between Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace. Any insight on this choice for me? Thank you,

Hello from one fellow Texan to another!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Wow!  I am very excited to hear about your upcoming trip!  Just a couple more days, so we had better get started.

Of course, the big difference between the two are the characters.  Chef Mickey's will feature Mickey & Friends and the Crystal Palace will have Winnie the Pooh & Friends.  You cannot go wrong with either of these two dining experiences.  You will have characters greeting you at your table and the children will be able to get up and dance at both restaurants.  What characters are your little ones wanting to meet?

With all that being said, I am a little concerned about trying to secure a reservation at Chef Mickey's. Chef Mickey's is a favorite and it will be difficult to find an available time if you have not set your reservation.  Our guests tend to set their reservations 180 days in advance and still find it quite difficult to reserve a spot.   If you are not able to secure a reservation at either restaurant, you will have a better chance of just walking up to The Crystal Palace.  We have always been lucky by just popping in.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel. Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime. May your Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories!
