I am a Disney World vet but this will be my first experience with the new magic bands....... When selecting fast passes are there restrictions to which attractions you re able to choose at one park (ie Test Track and Soarin)? Thank You

    Hello Angela!
As a Walt Disney World Resort veteran you know that the FastPass system can make your time in the Parks much more efficient. You are correct that two Parks, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, are currently on a "tiered" system. Guests are allowed to select one FastPass+ selection from the top tier and two FastPass+ selections from the second tier.  At Epcot the top tier includes IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, Living with the Land, Soarin', and Test Track.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the top tier includes Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage, Fantasmic!, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Great Movie Ride, and Toy Story Midway Mania!. As with all things, the attractions assigned to each tier are subject to change. When you are ready to book your FastPass+ selections, the reservation system will make it clear which attractions are in the different tier levels. More information about using the FastPass+ system can be found here.

Just so you know, after you have utilized your first three FastPass+ selections, you may get another FastPass+ selection at kiosks located in each park. This is based on attraction availability and you will have to use your current FastPass+ before you can select another. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask, the Disney Parks Moms Panel loves helping guests plan magical vacations.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
