I've been to Disney World many times, but this is the first time I am staying off-property. Is there anywhere we can park and utilize Disney transportation? Kind of like a park & ride? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to get around.

Hi Allison! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Yes, Disney has a main transportation hub area called the Ticket and Transportation Center that acts just like a Park and Ride. It shares a parking lot with Magic Kingdom Park. Once parked, everyone heads the same direction, which is actually to the Ticket and Transportation Center no matter which park you're going to that day.

Once at the Ticket and Travel Center, you have about four options of getting to your desired location. If you're heading to The Magic Kingdom Park or Epcot, you may take a Monorail. Monorail service starts about an hour before each parks opening time. Should a monorail be down or the line be just unbearable, you can also cross the Seven Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom Park by taking the Ferryboat, the entrance of which is to the left of the monorail entrances.

If you're trying to get to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, or Disney Springs, you'll take a Resort Transportation Bus, which can be found all the way to the right of the monorail entrances. There will be well marked signs of where to find your desired bus, and there should even be a TV monitor updating the arrival time of the next bus. This area has restrooms and a small shop selling drinks, snacks, a few breakfast items and some souvenirs while you wait. And lastly, if you're in a hurry to get from the Ticket and Transportation center to wherever you need to be, you can always find a taxi or ride-share vehicle from this same bus area.

Buses run back to the Ticket and Transportation Center until two hours after each parks closing time, and there should also be a bus from Disney Springs back to the TTC until 2am.

I hope this helped, Allison, and we'll see you real soon!
