Hi, Erica!
I’m thrilled you’re considering a trip to the Disneyland Resort. There’s something extra magical about walking in Walt Disney’s footsteps at his original theme park here on the West Coast! While there’s no way to know for sure what
Disneyland Resort special offers and discounts will be offered or when, past years can give us a hint as to what might become available in 2018. During the last several summers, there were offers valid from early-August to late-September that included discounted room rates (ranging from 10% to 30% off) at some or all of the Disneyland Resort Hotels announced in July. The Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer dining plans like you may be used to at Walt Disney World Resort, so you aren’t likely to find dining discounts aside from what is offered to Annual Passholders.
I think at least four days is a great amount of time to take in all the resort has to offer, from attractions, to entertainment, to dining and shopping. It’s a good idea to build downtime into your schedule so you can rest, account for jet lag, and also explore the Disneyland Resort Hotels, Downtown Disney District and theme parks without feeling rushed. Disneyland Park may be smaller than Magic Kingdom Park, but it is packed with unique attractions and history.
If you’re a Disney foodie like me, you might want to plan some table-service meals during your visit. A couple of my favorites are Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park and
Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park. However, the Disneyland Resort has several amazing quick-service restaurants you can visit too. I hope this helps, Erica. Please visit again with more questions as your planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
