Going to Disney World in September. Yuck! I know that's an awful month. Going with my husband, son and two grandsons ages 5 and 7. Can't decide between the Contemporary, Polynesian or the Grand Floridian? What are the pros and cons?

Where's the love, Gypsy? September is an awesome month to go to Walt Disney World! It's slightly cooler than the summer months and it gets less rain than the summer months too. You will have the unnecessary burden of dealing with some of the lowest crowds that Disney World sees during the year. Oye.

Since you are going to Disney World in September (you poor, poor thing,) you should giddy-up on making advance dining reservations, which you can make up to 180 days in advance of your trip.

Now down to resorts. You can't go wrong with the three you listed. They are all on the monorail line and connecting to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and each other is a piece of cake. They all have good dining options too.

Your grandsons would probably like the theming, pool and Dole-Whips at the Polynesian the best. For you, your husband and your son, you can get the best coffee (Kona blend) on property at the Polynesian too. You can catch Wishes (the Magic Kingdom fireworks show) on the shores of the Poly and Grand Floridian. At the Contemporary, you can catch Wishes from the California Grill viewing area if you dine there that day. Grand Floridian is likely going to have the biggest price tag per night.

Anything else we can do to ease the pain of your upcoming trip? Seriously - come on back and ask more questions so we can help!
