I am going to Disney World in September with my 18 month old grandson. It is is first visit and I have been there at least 10 times.Any suggestions for toddler things???

    Hi Darcel,

How much that your grandson is going to WDW for the first time!  To help with traveling with a toddler, you may want to look at the Magical Beginnings Guide (fyi, Toontown is no longer open in the Magic Kingdom). Also, if you'd like help with an itinerary, www.touringplans.com is a website dedicated to helping guests make most of their days at the parks highlighting the "must-dos" in an order to help save time and avoid long lines. Some of the plans are tailored for traveling with toddlers.  There is a nominal cost for the plans, but well worth it in my opinion.

Your grandson may also enjoy dining at a character meal; it is so wonderful having the characters come to you rather than standing in line waiting to see them.  A family favorite of ours is The Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends). We make our breakfast reservations for a time before the Magic Kingdom opens on a non Extra Magic Hour morning --- we get photos of us on Main Street with very few other people.  It looks we are all alone at WDW!

And this might be something unexpected - how about a haircut while at WDW?  Click here to see more information on this experience.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel; please let us know if we can help again.  Have a magical trip!
