I will be at Disney World one week after galaxy's edge opens. On the website it says galaxy's edge will be open for extra magic hours for "select disney hotels". Have they specified any further? I am staying at pop century.

Hi there, Matt! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I am so super excited to be able to answer so many questions concerning Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Along with pretty much everyone else, I am a massive Star Wars fan and have also been waiting for more details regarding the official opening date. We now finally know the official opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort will be August 29th, 2019!

In the very near future, we will be able to experience piloting the Millennium Falcon on a smuggling mission in Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, build our own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop, taste some intergalactic libations at Oga’s Cantine, and so much more! This all-new land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will offer Guests the opportunity to become fully immersed in the epic universe of Star Wars and set out on their own unique adventures!

Extra Magic Hours are offered to all Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. So I am very happy to let you know that you will be able to participate in Extra Magic Hours as a Guest of Disney’s Pop Century Resort! Be sure to keep an eye on the Park Hours page as your arrival date gets closer so you can know which days Extra Magic Hours are being offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well!

Good luck continuing to plan your vacation and may the force be with you!
