I will be going to Disney world with my 4 month old. Should I bring him in his car seat or just put him in the stroller? What other suggestions do you have for me? Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Amanda, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Your little guy won't remember this first visit, but you sure will!

You won't have the need for a car seat, so I recommend leaving it behind. For safety reasons, your baby isn't permitted to be secured in his car seat on Disney's Magical Express or on the other modes of complimentary transportation. He'll be much happier on your lap, I'm sure! Should you request a Minnie Van, a versatile car seat will be provided.

If your stroller reclines nearly flat and features a large canopy shade, your baby should be quite happy and comfortable! We always take our own City Mini Stroller with us on our Disney vacations. In it, our babies have taken many much-needed naps during adventure-filled days in the theme parks! You may also want to take an infant carrier with you. You're welcome to board many family-friendly attractions with your little one snuggled in the carrier!

Be sure to pack a well-stocked diaper bag. I usually include diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, a few changes of clothes, a Ziploc bag (never know when it will come in handy!), little toys, and a changing pad. Should you forget something, not to fret! There's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks that features an on-site shop with baby care essentials for purchase. We once ran out of diapers at Magic Kingdom Park, and boy were we glad we could buy more at the Baby Care Center!

I hope this was helpful, Amanda. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
