We will be at Disney World May 30th. Does everyone have to be inside park to get boarding time for Star Wars?

    Hi Maurice!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Great question! Many Guests have missed out on the opportunity to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance because they haven't familiarized themselves with the process. To answer your question, yes, everyone wishing to obtain a boarding pass must tap in the park. Once the park "officially" opens, you must be ready to join a Boarding Group via your My Disney Experience App. I would recommend that you have all the guests in your party linked to your My Disney Experience Account under "Family & Friends" so that you can get everyone in the same boarding group. The most important tip I can give you is to arrive early to Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to join a Boarding Group. At present time, Guests have been arriving at the park one hour before park opening just to clear security bag check and to line up at the touch points. Hope this helps!

Quick Tip: You can now select Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run as a FastPass+ selection! Be sure to check it out!

Maurice, thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you plan your vacation and please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
