We will be going to Disney World in March! Could you please tell me if I can link my Disney Visa Rewards card to our Magicbands? Thank You!

    Hi Laurie,

Thanks for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. March is a great time to visit, with Spring filling the air, especially at Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. A feast for all senses, with incredible topiaries and gardens, excellent food and awesome music at the Garden Rocks Outdoor Concert Series.

The Disney Visa Cards from Chase are an excellent way to carry a bit of Disney in your pocket at all times, while saving Disney Rewards dollars. It also gives you incredible perks like discounts, offers, exclusive character experiences, and card designs including Star Wars.

The cards will earn Disney Dream Rewards Dollars which you can transfer to a Disney Rewards card and use at most locations in Walt Disney World Resort. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you will need to link your credit card to your room folio, where all MagicBand purchases get charged. What we usually do is apply the balance of the Disney Rewards card towards the balance of our room account. Be sure to do this the night before your Check-Out. Now remember you can use the card towards payment of your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, so that is another option.

One last tip: some restaurants and merchandise locations will give you a discount if you pay with either your Disney Visa card or Disney Rewards card. Visit the Walt Disney World Vacation Perks page for a listing of locations. See you real soon!
