Hello! Going to disney world in June. We have res at ohana (polynesian) at 5:20. What time should we leave animal kingdom to get to dinner and what is the best way to get there? Thanks!

    Hi Eric!

Mmmmm... Disney's Polynesian Resort's 'Ohana is absolutely, hands-down, my favourite place to enjoy a fabulous dinner at Walt Disney World!

As your day at Animal Kingdom comes to a close, you'll want to be heading out the park gates by about 4:15pm in order to head out to your transportation. It's generally recommended that you allow for a full hour of travel time when going from park to park, or park to resort, around Walt Disney World.

You do have two options to get to the Polynesian Resort from Animal Kingdom Park. You can head straight to the bus for Disney's Polynesian Resort. The bus usually does make a stop at another resort - either Disney's Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge Resorts - before stopping at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Your alternate option is to take the bus which goes directly to the Ticket and Transportation Center - Gateway to the Magic Kingdom. Upon arrival at the TTC, you can choose to board the resort monorail and ride it just one stop to Disney's Polynesian Resort, or, enjoy the relatively short walk along the pathway into the Polynesian's grounds right next door! If you all enjoy a walk and weather is permitting, I highly recommend this route. It's an absolutely beautiful and lush property to take a stroll through. Once you've arrived at the central part of the resort, head indoors to the beautiful lobby and upstairs to 'Ohana to check in at the podium.

If you have additional questions about your upcoming vacation, please feel free to write me back Eric. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
