    Barbra from LA Asked

We'll be in Disney World in February 2017. When we book our fast passes how much time between each one should we allow?

Hi Barbra! Booking your FastPass selections can be confusing and a bit intimidating the first time.

There are many different ways to look at how to book a FastPass and you have to decide which works best for you. The first two hours in any park will generally find shorter queue lines for the attractions. By mid morning these lines become longer and it's time to use those FastPasses. So my family generally starts a FastPass around 10:30/11 if we are going to be at a park at park opening.

We try to build a time for lunch in among the FastPasses so we either select two FastPasses one right after the other and then leave an hour open for lunch or book one FastPass and then lunch hour followed by the remaining FastPasses. Once you have used the third FastPass you can then go and select another one for that day. You can continue to do this during your time at the parks.

I never book the parades and especially fireworks viewing areas for FastPass. There are plenty of areas to watch both park extravaganzas without having to use it with a FastPass. And since these two events are not until late in the evening you are blocking your ability to gain more FastPasses for that day since you won't use your third until the end.

Hope this helps in your planning. Remember what works for some doesn't necessarily work for you and there is no right or wrong way to book your FastPasses.
